What is a Pinata?
Pinatas originate from Mexico, and the Mayan and Aztec times where they used to be made out of clay and coloured with paper. Pinatas have long been a strong tradition in Latin America. It is suggested they were brought over from Mexico by the Spanish conquistadors. Nowadays pinatas are a common sight at parties all over the world. The pinatas can filled with sweet, toys, and any goodies you would like. Players take it turn to hit the pinata blindfolded until all the surprises burst free from the pinata. Our pinatas have a plastic hook so they can be hung up easily. We also have the blinfolds, busters, and fillers available. They are spectacular fun and are a real centrepiece for parties for young and old!
